Ai Chi is an aquatic exercise format inspired by tai chi and qigong. Ai Chi is a wonderful choice if you are looking for a recovery or restorative aquatic exercise format. Also, it is a great addition to a warm-up or cool-down portion of an aquatic exercise program.

The three principles of Ai Chi:

  1. deep diaphragmatic breathing

  2. concentration on form and body awareness

  3. acceptance that “how it turns out is the way it’s meant to be”

For guidance in Ai Chi contact a certified instructor Julie@SeniorFit.health.
