COVID-19 exercise recommendations

Exercise at home or outdoors following all COVID-19 precautions: wear a mask when around others, maintain social distance, and wash hands frequently.

The older adult population is at risk for depression and exercise inconsistency because of reduced social interaction. Increase social elements via online exercise classes or virtual personal training sessions. Strength and balance exercises are recommendation for the older adult population for maintaining independence with activities of daily living.
